Please feel free to ask/tell us of words that aren't currently in our list and were be happy to add it. You may private message Benjiroo through the board system with suggestions.
- Angle: This is a story line between 2 or more wrestlers. An angle can develop in role-plays and the show results. It usually climaxes at a PPV.
- Booker: This is the person/people who are in control of deciding matches for the next show. They usually decide the winners of each match as well by looking through all of the RP's
- Card: A show which is usually made up of 4-8 matches (can be more for a PPV) and can have several skits in between matches.
- eFed: Electronic Federation. This is what you take part in, it consists of several wrestlers and has at least 1 weekly card. This is where you RP against other handlers.
- eWrestler: This is what a handler controls. Usually a fictional character made up by the handler who controls every little detail about the eWrestler.
- eWrestling: This is also sometimes known as fantasy wrestling. It is what this site is about!
- Face: A good guy from an eFed.
- Feud: Similar to an angle but is a "hate" relation between 2 or more eWrestlers.
- Flash: Used a lot in the newer eFeds. It makes short movies to improve a site design.
- Gimmick: An eWrestlers persona is some sort of gimmick. You can get many different kinds of gimmicks such as a hardcore wrestler or gothic wrestler.
- Handler: The person who controls an eWrestler. The handler is responsible for every action of the eWrestler as they decide the gimmick of the eWrestler and write the RP's
- Heel: A bad guy from an eFed. There are generally far too many heels in certain eFeds.
- Main Event: The ultimate match in a card. Mostly between the eWrestlers who can write the best RP's.
- Neutral: An eWrestler who isn't completely heel or face. The neutral can sway between heel and face for angles.
- Out of Character: Also known as OOC. Many eFeds have an OOC board to discuss angles or other aspects of the fed. OOC means that you don't play the role of your eWrestler.
- Poser: A program used a lot by current eFeds. It can create those 3-D wrestlers you see. The best examples are at http://www.thefwo.com.
- PPV: A monthly show that often takes place on Sunday for most eFeds. Usually has more matches than the weekly card as it is hyped up even more. A lot of angles conclude at the PPV.
- Role-play: This is what normally decides the winners of each match. A role-play can take place as an interview or even some sort of short story, which is becoming more popular. A role-play is usually posted on a RP board.
- RP: Also known as a Role-play.
- RP Board: This is where the role-plays are posted in a fed. Newer eFeds require the eWrestlers to log into a members area to post on the main board.
Thanks to Jamie Mac for the original list.
