SANTA BARBARA, CA - This afternoon marks a new beginning for Tim Shipley, returning to Just Wrestling's day-to-day operations following his acquittal of charges falsely made by a Ms Barnard with whom he had been living earlier in the year. With confusion and despair behind him, the former Core Wrestling and AWC wrestler is hoping for a successful and trouble-free summer tour, this no doubt aided by the absence for the first time of longtime adversary The Illustrious Face-Eater from the locker room. Face-Eater, real name Adam Dick, had taken the reins of the What Next? Tour under the guidance of Director of Operations Troy Mason, and while the tour itself was not disastrous Shipley is reported to be fuming at Just's expenses incurred by repeated cross-country travel to match Dick's scattergun tour schedule. As such popular rumour suggests that Dick's conspicuous absence from the Long Hot Summer roster is down to a mandate from Shipley, but there is no confirmation of this. What has been confirmed is the arrival of several new faces to follow those announced last week. Ray LaPointe, Scarecrow, Felix Mendoza and Skylar Montgomery take the initial touring group to a respectable total of fourteen, which may be supplemented by a concentrated hiring drive midway through the tour according to Shipley's plans. Shipley also announced that Just will have a full-time ring announcer for the first time, the role previously having been filled by locals. The name Roxie Knightley is sure to raise a few eyebrows, the B-list actress and model having been doing her best to make waves over the past year. Certainly her presence will add a touch of glamour to proceedings. Things get underway in Oakland, CA in ten days' time but the perhaps disappointing news for early ticket-holders is that Just Wrestling Champion Violence Jack is not slated for a match. Instead his title defence against Cheap Labor is set to be held back for one of the outdoor shows later in July. Yet there are more than enough exciting matches on show to make up for it. There's no such thing as a slow start in Just Wrestling, and we open up with GCW's main man Andy Murray taking on Brock Alyas. Neither has made an enormous splash in their Just appearances to date, but Murray has a lot to prove given his worldwide reputation, while Alyas is fighting for the Championship match that his third consecutive victory could bring. It's sure to be explosive. We'll then see a whole host of newcomers in singles matches. DWF's least popular man Owen Manton takes on the largely unknown Beau Archer, before a battle of the homegrowns ensues: Santa Barbara's Brian Arson faces California-raised Mexican Felix Mendoza. The mysterious Skylar Montgomery - whose largely sarcastic profile somehow passed through Just's quality control and is available to read on the website - is then pitted against former FUSE Universal Champion Jacob McKail. Finally, our main event is a mouthwatering encounter between three of our mainstays - former JWC Erik Magnum, #1 contender Cheap Labor, and the perennially underrated Wrett Warren. With more than five weeks having passed since the conclusion of the What Next? Tour, a great night of Just Wrestling action is more than due. Be sure to check back in ten days for the recap. |

The opening notes to Charlie Robison's Down Again play.
*The scene is fuzzy at first. Then it comes into focus.*
"Here I go back down again Vicious circle never ends...
*The picture comes off as being shot by a hand held digital camera that the operator can't keep still.*
"I'm up, I'm down, I'm up and then Here I go back down again..
*The picture becomes clearer. A. Kuluha Bacardi sits in a barca lounger on the left.*
"Seems like all I do is wrong But you stood by me for so long
*Chuck U. Farley is next to Bacardi in a barca lounger to the right.*
"Nothin's changed except you're gone Seems like all I do is wrong...
*A half drunk six pack of Natural Lite sits on the floor between them. "So here I go back down again..." Wednesday Wrestling Rag's Underground Top 50 with A. Kuluha Bacardi and Chuck U. Farley -Tag Team Top 10 -Beers Up or Beers Down -Women's Top 15 -Long Distance Dedication -Men's Top 25

AKB: "Thanks Chuck. We are going to add on the federations at the Experts. Between the Experts, APA, the feds who frequent EW Nexus, EW Torch, and EW Zine, a total of 33 federations make up the ratings.
CUF: "The other big change is that we are going to rank the top 25 men's wrestlers instead of the top 15 and the top 15 women instead of the top 10.

eWzine is proud to announce the latest section to join the likes of the offered Rumor Mill, Columns, Show Reviews, Drive By’s, Site of the Month and of course the Forums; East Versus West (tentative title). What is it? To put it in simple terms, the EVW is a combination of two main parts; the E-Wrestler of the Week And Wednesday Wrestling Rag’s Underground Top 35. Each week submissions will be allowed for the Top Superstars in three categories; Showmanship, Match Work, and Overall Build. These submissions will then be paired against their win/loss of the most recent card. Any Card from Monday to Saturday would be counted. In the first installments case anything from last Monday to this coming Saturday the 4th, will be counted towards. Just to get it started. Then at the end of the month, the top scoring will be given the chance to provide an exclusive interview with eWzine, In OR Out of Character, on how they feel about being at the top of the pack, thoughts on others that were close but not quite, thoughts on their current story, and other. This person will also have a tag associated to their name on the forum for each Month Victory.
Down the line these will add up to another purpose, but more on that at a later time. Guidelines are Simple! The Three Categories: Showmanship: Basically how well they were utilized on the Card, and if they were thrown in your face, was it done in a way that it felt right? Match Work: The basics of any match are how well the competitors interact with one another. Who stood out the most in your view? Overall: Just overall who did you see rising to the top, or standing out the most in the recent week? Provide up to FIVE per selection. You can not Submit yourself onto the List. It will take more than one Submission to make it on the List. Fill this out and PM it to Spike Saunders on the forum. ============ EvW Submission: Showmanship: 1. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = 2. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = 3. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = 4. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = 5. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = Match Work: 1. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = 2. Efed Name + Angle/RP? = 3.
