Things will never be the same again in the World Wrestling Alliance. In the last couple of days we have heard the breaking news that WWA West closed down its doors, Chance Wolfington is now the sole owner of the alliance and Eric Dane is now running a promotion that plans on bringing back the glory days of the fold through complete and utter dominance.

It has also been stated that WWA East has absorbed the last of the WWA West roster, and these rumors have been confirmed. East has been re-branded as Appalachian Wrestling, and Anthony Palladino has stated that, “the federation will hold control of the entire Northeast Region, which includes Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and all of New England.” Palladino claimed that he was “ecstatic about the changes, and happy to be part of such a movement.”

The last three Appalachian Wrestling events have gone off without a hitch, and have been getting some national recognition on the independent circuit. Of course Palladino plans on producing quality results, and is ready for the “friendly” competition that Defiance will bring as his counterpart in the alliance. When asked about Eric Dane’s challenge of Jack Amethyst on the first Defiance event, Anthony Palladino just laughed and stated that “Amethyst is untouchable.”

There are big changes on the horizon for the entire alliance, but surely for the better. Appalachian Wrestling will hold its first event under the new name on this memorable night in Philadelphia, PA.

Battle Royal Contract Match
Nick Journey, El Asesino, Jak Nemesis, Blue Collar PA, Nick Rivers, Adam Nicholson, “The Headliner” Chris Kaladaro, RAGE
All out war. The only way to eliminate your opponent is tossing them over the ropes. The first four men elminated will lose their World Wrestling Alliance contracts. The last four will secure their contracts with Appalachian Wrestling. The winner will be named a top contender for the Atlantic Coast Championship. This is cut throat.

Tag Team Spotlight Match
Chris Cannon & Leroy “The Tron” Jenkins -vs- The Hunters
This odd pairing of Cannon and newcomer Jenkins will have to battle off the former West tag team in The Hunters. This tandem has done some damage over in West, and they plan on making a name for themselves come tonight! But Jenkins and Cannon certainly have no plans of laying down. Expect something special with this one.

Atlantic Coast Title #1 Contendership Match
Angel of Death -vs- C.R.I.P.
Both men gave valiant efforts in Philadelphia on November 30th, both deserving of wearing the Atlantic Coast Championship, but they both fell short. Ronnie Long walked away as the champion, and this week they must face off against each other once again to determine the number one contender. The winner will receive a shot at Long’s title on the following event.

Main Event
Jack Amethyst -vs- Cobra -vs- Ronnie Long -vs- “King of Pain” Stephen Greer
Amethyst may do battle down south a few days earlier if he accepts the challenge from Defiance President Eric Dane , so we decided the fans of Appalachian Wrestling deserved something extra special; this fatal four-way match. And since East absorbed West’s roster we decided to throw one half of the World Tag Team Champions into the mix, and of course Ronnie Long- the first Atlantic Coast Champion. Amethyst. Cobra. Long. Greer. It’s going to be a wild one.
