Its me, the Rumor Guy. Let's get right down to it this week shall we?

-In a week of shocking developments we have seen the ceasing of operations of Fed Wars and the Superstar Wrestling Federation with the websites for both being removed. Little is known concerning the closure of the SWF. As for Fed Wars, there has been speculation amongst the arm chair analysts that Fed Wars management was worried they were trying to reinvent the wheel with out the proper tools.

-Other sites that have also been removed from the Internet this week include the wrestling nexus Titan Zone and the official Miss USA website. There is little known as to the reasons for these website shut downs, which seems to be the case this week.

-Keaton Saint and Cell Block continue to fight over who the true Legacy Champion of PWC is. In recent appearances Keaton has not been appearing so Saintly. It is clear that the “King Kon” of Premiere:WC has gotten under Saint’s skin. Some say that Cell Block’s recent introduction to the music of Lady Gaga will be his downfall and that Keaton has nothing to worry about.

-A huge rivalry is growing over in Xtreme Online Wrestling and it is only to get worse as the XWO edges towards the TEAM Cup and two teams in particular have their eyes the prize. Earlier this year Eric Benjamin and Joshua McKie cost Kronik and The Wraith the Tag Team Championships. Kronik and The Wraith repaid the favor not long ago, costing the two men of their titles. What will happen when these two teams finally meet on June 9th at Cyberslam #83?

-Two former WTF Champions returned on the last Xtreme. “The Bastard Icon” Eric Dillinger and “The Real Deal” Brad Bronson returned to the fold just in time to throw their names into the 2009 Xtreme Rumble. The WTF fans are buzzing with excitement, wondering who else might show up for this years Rumble.

-In the Millennium Wrestling Alliance there may be trouble brewing in paradise. Ryann Hardy was heard recently at a party screaming expletives at her cell phone. Sources close to Hardy say that it was due to pictures that have surfaced on the internet recently of MWA Heritage Champion Kacy Knight kissing Brad Jackson. Apparently, while we may be almost a decade into a new millennium the human condition never changes, especially when it comes to wrestlers and love.

-The DWF has been negotiating with female talent, Kelly Evans, for the last few days and have finally managed to finalize the deal. Expect Kelly to debut soon.

-PRIME held their Ultra Violence Pay Per View this past week, and it definitely lived up to the name. Jason Snow successfully defended the PRIME Universal Championship in a triple threat match against Garbage Bag Johnny and Chandler Tsonda. As soon as the match was over both Tsonda and Snow were attacked by Hessian. Hessian then carried GBJ out of the ring shocking everyone in attendance.

That's it for me this week. Join me once again next week for more news and rumors. As always if you come across any good gossip, send it my way.

WTF The Blog #6: More on Xtreme Consequences PDF Print E-mail
Written by Adam Effler

Welcome to the WTF blog ladies and gentlemen. Due to logistical issues as a part of the WTF’s XTreme Pandemonium tour I am unable to record this as a video blog. So for this week we’ll stick to the written word.

This is it ladies and gentlemen. WTF’s Xtreme Consequences is just a few short days away. Coming at you live June 14, 2009 from the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Main Event of the night and a perennial match of the year candidate, the Xtreme Rumble.

This year’s Xtreme Rumble sees the return to action of two former WTF World Champions: “The Bastard Icon” Eric Dillinger and “The Real Deal” Brad Bronson. With a record six former world champions plus the current champion Viking this is bound to be the greatest Xtreme Rumble yet.

You will remember the amazing finish last year between Aramis and Andrew O’Reilly that pretty much cemented Andrew’s status as the 2008 wrestler of the year while also guaranteeing Aramis the World Title shot that earned him his record third World title Reign.

What lies in store for the WTF in this years Xtreme Rumble.

Of course we already know that the Rumble will bring use new tag team champions as Conner Lucas Tatum and Simply Simon of Mayhem Inc. vacated the titles on the last episode of Xtreme. With the Canadian title being defended in the title versus title match between World Champion Viking and Canadian Champion Shawn “The All Star” Anderson we have the potential of the Canadian title changing hands twice that night. Yet another historic first for the WTF.

The title versus title match is Viking’s first major title defense since winning he WTF title at March Massacre from Aramis. Facing his long time rival The All Star, Viking is out to prove to everyone that his win over Aramis wasn’t a fluke. Viking fully intends to lead the WTF for the near future. I’ve been told that Viking is predicting that not only will he defeat Shawn Anderson, but he will also win the Xtreme Rumble as he will have to defend the Canadian title in the Rumble should he win it. Could we see the current WTF champion win the Rumble and thus leave the WTF World Title shot at Winter War 2009 up in the air?

In other news, I announced on the last Xtreme that Fed Wars had ceased operations and that the WTF was looking for another partnership for inter company action. Yesterday, the owner of the Apex Wrestling Alliance, JC Barr, released a joint press release with WTF and ESN headquarters announcing that Wrestling’s Toughest Federation had joined the AWA.

It is the hope of WTF officials that this exciting development will lead to even more exposure for the WTF and AWA as a whole. Stay tuned to WTF programming for developments.

Casting a pall over these exciting developments and expectations is the news involving The Turkish monster. Later today, June 10, Aramis will be sentenced for his recent crimes. With a potential of multiple decades long sentences many WTF fans and employees wait with baited breath to see whether this will spell the end of the career of a WTF superstar.

In other news I am told that Captain Sexy was seen once again at WTF Headquarters in Chicago. Could this mean a return for Darren Revel at the Xtreme Rumble? I don’t know about you, but that is just one more reason for me to watch this week. Speaking of possible returns, I am told by sources close to the man that former hobo Doc Halliday is contemplating a return to the ring. After winning the lottery and becoming one of the richest men in Canada, could Doc have finally realized that his true calling is in a WTF ring?

Finally, coming back to Xtreme Consequences, “The Executioner” Jordan Keyser has been strangely quiet leading into his Insane Asylum match with “Majikal Mayhem” Vance Bonesteel. Many are taking this as a sign that Jordan has realized he’s bitten off more than he can chew, while die hard Keyser fans are claiming it is simply that Jordan sees no need to speak on the subject. They are confident Jordan means to prove himself in the only way that matters. In the center of the ring at Xtreme Consequences.

That’s all for this edition of WTF The Blog. Join us again next time when we can hopefully return to our video format!  --- Adam Effler

The WWR announced late last night that it is holding a supershow involving wrestlers from the Dream Wrestling Federation, Missouri Valley Wrestling Association, and Political Championship Wrestling on Sunday August 23rd.  The show will be held at Anderson Arena on the campus of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.

According to A. Kuluha Bacardi from the WWR, the show’s intent is to showcase the best talent from the many different federations out there.  “What we hope to accomplish,” Bacardi said in an interview, “is to serve as the catalyst for more of these events to take place with other federations who may see an event like this as a perfect vehicle to show off their talent.”

The tentative card looks like this:

-PCW Tag Team Title Match: ‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido and Starz N. Stripes (c) vs. Jack Schett and Bull Schett with Horst Schett and the Extreme German Schnauzer Hans Gruber

-DWF Young Guns Plus One Elimination match: T-Money vs. Cody Brews vs. Travis Williams vs. Doozer

-MVW Tag Team Title Match: Angels of Death-Angel Scott and Angel Casey (c) vs. The Vatican Vice Squad- Sister Mary Marlboro and Sister Sandy Scarboro with Mother Superior Sister Susan

-PCW Title Match: O’Beck Bahama (c) w/Justin Sufferable vs. Khalid-El w/the Axis of Evil vs. Hollywood A-Lister Stone Chism w/the Skanky Rich Bimbos vs. The Right Reverend Randy Richardson w/the God Squad

DWF Non-title match:  Level-One (c) vs. Owen Manton vs. Pierce vs. Jak Nemesis

Yes, this review is late, so we'll get right to it (right after I get my linkage for E-Wrestling Torch; check the site for reviews of recent FWO, ACW, NFW, and PCW shows). OK, onto today's review.

Hostility Wrestling Federation's South of Heaven Report

May 31, 2009
New York City, New York

- Show opens outside a janitor's closet with Alexandra Ricci interviewing Steve Harrison in an odd comedy interview. Weird way to start a PPV.

- Backstage, Sarge Sterling and Hugo Sterling agree to a wager involving Sterling and his possible future bride/current fling(?), Paige Johnson. If I've learned anything from the advice columns, it's this: if a relationship is worth risking based on the outcome of a mid-card PPV wrestling match, then it's a quality relationship.

- Umm…another segment. This one revolves around a family and the taking of mass quantities of Xanax. Is this a wrestling show? A couple more sports entertainy segments follow, but I'm already painfully bored, so we'll skip ahead to the opening match.
